At the NW Oyster beds annually this time of year it is a festive time for the Eagles, Blue Herons, Seagulls, crows, and hell of a lot of Photographers. The fish, Midshipmen, come up from the deep and spawn their eggs in the Oyster Beds, when low tide begins the fish get trapped in pools of water and the fun begins for everyone. The Eagles and the Juveniles get extremely aggressive with each other and the Seagulls and the crows sneak in for a catch. As the show goes on the Juveniles challenge each other aggressively in the air and the ground. The crowds come from all the country and Canada, including Mark Smith, and you meet allot of friendly people.

Enjoy,

Chris S.

Just a great set of shots. And all super sharp. That first shot! But all lovely. Sure hope Nikon ships my 600 f4 before I'm too old to tear open the shipping box :) In your hands it's clearly producing great photos!

What a set, Chris. Looks like a good time. The angle on the eagle in that first shot is hard to beat. And the second frame is certainly a different look at GBHs. Well done.
