Of all of the places in the world you've visited, which would you like to return to with a camera?

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

Did wreck diving on the Japanses ships sunk around Palau and it was fun diving but most dives were down to more than 30 meters so had to rush and I was shooting film so limited to 35 exposures and then back up for a reload. The marine life I photographed in the 1980's has been greatly reduced with industrial fishing and the coral reefs dying as well.

Spent a couple weeks in Pantanal just before the start of the pandemic and would live very much to see the other 80% of the country as the wildlife varies greatly around the country. Important to see wildlife before it disappears with all the ranchers and palm oil produces burning the Amazon as fast as they can.

I know. I keep telling myself that.
A quick story for you to consider. My wife and I had a habit of saying, we'll do it later (trip to Hawaii, etc.). Well, nine years ago, my beautiful 54-year-old bride, died of cancer. All the things we were going to do, never happened. There have been many times, since my loss, thinking, "I wish I would have or if
only I.............."

Life is too short, to not seize the moment, ASAP.

I have been very fortunate to travel the world with my camera. I have spent a huge amount of time in Africa, which is my passion. As to the best single place?
The Okavango, Yellowstone in winter, The Galapagos Islands and India are all close but No.1 for me Svalbard every time.

Very sorry for the loss of your beloved, especially at such a young age. My wife and I put off a lot of "bucket list" trips so we could visit family when we were younger, but after my surviving multiple cancer diagnoses and treatments, we started doing some of those trips over the past decade until COVID hit. I am looking forward to when we can resume our travels and try to get in some more of those trips. You are correct that life is too short.

Thank you, Ken, for your kind comment. Good luck getting your travels up and running, once again.
