I am using a Z9 with FTZ II adapter and trying out a couple of F-mount lenses. I notice that when you have the lens VR turned on (either normal or active mode), the viewfinder image jumps when you first press the shutter button to take a picture. It is really pronounced on the 180-400 lens and 500 PF lens, but I also see it on the 24-70 lens. I have not tried all my F-mount lenses, but I tried my 180-400 on a friend's Z9 and saw that same image shift while taking pictures. And a friend says his image jumps with the 70-200. If you hold the shutter down for a burst of images, the image stops jumping after the first image is taken. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it "normal"? This is really distracting. I can stop it from doing this is by turning off the lens VR mode. Is there another setting that can stop this image shift/jump from happening that still allows VR for the lens?
