This is from a recent encounter with T87 'Harbeson' born approximately 1962, who is the oldest male in the west coast population of transient (Bigg's) orca.
He and a small group of orca came into Elliot Bay in downtown Seattle and fortunately provided us a relatively close pass to shore.
The weather, while not windy, was very wet and dark. I think this made the conversion to a B&W photo a fairly easy choice.
