My black lab is pathologically scared of water, he won't even jump in the pool with us and we've tried about every way possible. He's a rescue, clearly trained as a hunting retriever but he must have developed a fear of water at that point and was likely abandoned. That's the best we can guess. He'll go on walks for hours off leash and show every behavior of a hunting dog but he won't go near water. So enjoy the water play with your dog, those are always fun!

When I am not shooting wildlife or landscape I dabble in documentary / street photography, usually in B&W as that's how I started, with an Hexar RF rangefinder and a 50mm prime, loaded with Fuji B&W film... Those are from a series I did a few years back on traditional artisans.

Although it's my least favorite of the bunch technically, I love the irony of the amish butcher in Philadelphia with his "special of the week" and "follow us on instagram" signs in the background...

Those are wonderful, evocative photographs. They show the power of B&W....thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Agree. This was actually a TF-51D, a 2 seat dual control trainer for the Mustang. As a retirement gift to myself, I actually flew in the backseat and had the controls for about 40 minutes. In a word......INCREDIBLE!

Back when I was flying, that was at the top of the list of the planes that I would have paid a lot to fly in. A lot of my colleagues had it at the top of their list, as well. Unfortunately for me, those days are over. :(

Motorsports, though Covid put a stop to that for 2020. I used to use a D300 with an 80-200 F/4.5 AI + 300mm F/4.5 AIS, then a Tamron 70-300 VC USD. I can't wait to see what my new gear is capable of! I took this in 2019 with the D300 + 300mm F/4.5 AIS.

That would be so interesting. A very interesting festival by the sounds of it.
