Peaceful Waters Preserve

I had watched Steve’s two and a half hour talk last night, so my mantra today was “get at eye level” and “watch your backgrounds”.

I had returned to a preserve near my house that I had forgotten about at the recommendation of Ira in the forums. Some really beautiful egrets and herons.

All shot on a D200 (you read that right) and a Sigma 150-500 5-6.3 handheld.

Excellent!!👍👍👍

Outstanding!
i too have beengiving my knees a workout to get to eye level. I even ended up crawling in the sand for an hour at the beach last week, for the greatest amusement of the locals :)

Great shots Jason, the shots of the immature Little Blue Heron are very nice. There is a family of Otters that live there, you should look out for them. (y)
