I looked up the specs for the Peak Design travel pod and for me, I'd pass. You don't say which 600 f4 you have so I'll use the non-E version as it's heavier. The Peak site claims a 20lb rating which is right about where your rig is at. I've found over the years that I like a tripod to have at least 2x the capacity of what I intend to put on it as anything less usually results in less than optimal results. I've felt that having a tripod that is not up to the task is worse than no tripod at all in that it gives you a false sense of security. I also try to minimize the number of leg joints as each joint is a potential source of weakness/shake. These are my opinions, YMMV as they say. Perhaps my biggest concern, I don't want my 600 EFL taking a fast trip to the ground because a leg collapsed or got bumped.
