Out this morning early, overcast, windy and raining.
A lot of birds were having problems with the wind, this Pied Oystercatcher seems to have gone backwards when landing.

Interesting sequence. Good on you for braving the conditions. It's easy for us to forget that for the wild things life goes on regardless of weather etc. They have to eat every day and can't just stay in and raid the fridge or get food delivered when the weather is bad.
