Sandhills flying into roost

Visited Crex Meadows, a western Wisconsin Refuge this afternoon and enjoyed the sandhills flying in. Kind of like this against the trees.

Nikon D6, 800mm 5.6, 1/1000, f/16, ISO 1600.

SO... I visited Fish Lake Reserve off Grettum Road today at sunrise. Many Sandhills. Here is one (of 700 shots I took!!) as the sun was starting to come up and I am facing West looking at the Full Moon as a few flew by!!! Thanks for the tip on the spot!!! Nikon D850 Nikkor 200 - 500 f5.6 lens (500mm) ISO 1000 1/1250 sec f5.6
