I spent a morning sitting quietly near a Lark Sparrow (Chondestes grammacus) flock's feeding area. After a couple of hours they tested the minimum focus distance :)

Lark Sparrow: "Is this my good side? How about this one? Maybe this is better."
Me: "Dude, they're ALL your good side"

Nice composition and colours.
I've been burst shooting and filling the buffer to capture the launch. It's odd how mostly they dive to the side and downward and the image isn't worth keeping.

Picture of a scrappy male Indigo Bunting molting and reverting back to non-breeding plumage. They are incredible when in full mating colors but I thought it was interesting (despite the terrible and harsh light) to show him in that transformation phase before they head back south for the winter.
