Like Dave said. But, I think I would prefer the first in colour - he/she does have lovely colours!

No prizes for guessing who is the number one fan of Ruppells... :) How about posting some full body shots or have I missed them in the myriad of fantastic photos being posted here in the forum.

John, Love vultures. Nice images, agree his beak was in some disaster.
Please accept my appology, no harm intended! ~ This is a Lapped-faced vulture, Ruples has a yellow bill and pale yellow eye. He also does not have the beautiful collar feathers of the LPV.

I think the light is better in the B&W, and thus that is my pick. As has been said, I'd like to see how the B&W shot looks in color, then maybe that would be my pick. Great shots!

You can all shoot me down for me using this oxymoron, but... these birds are beautifully ugly. I would be very happy to have one land in my backyard.
