I am probably going to order a replacement foot from Hejnar Photo today since I like the other one I bought so much.
Thought I would see if others have anything good or bad to say about it. It looks long, this could be good for balance or in the way?

Thanks

No experience with the Sony 200-600mm foot, but I have several Hejnar replacement feet for different lenses and haven't been disappointed with any of them. Hejnar does a great job with their products.

Thanks, I have just the one on my 500 pf. For such a small simple thing, it sure is nice! Very pleased with it.
I actually ordered it the first time I tried to buy a PF then it sat in a drawer for about 2 years...lol

I recently picked up a 600mm f/4 E FL and bought the Hejnar foot for it and am very pleased especially with its length which allows me to balance the lens against heavy or light camera bodies.

I’ve got the Kirk on mine and I like it. Usually I buy RRS but this is just as good.

Thanks, I ordered a Hejnar and if it seems too long I will order a Kirk. Or I could see having both actually.

I researched all of them and decided on the Leofoto Lens Foot SF-02 on Amazon. For $69 it was cheaper than most. Comes with a knob to quick release without an Allen wrench and the ability to use QD connectors that I find really strong and useful. QD connectors are made for the military so handle cameras with ease and disconnect instantly. I like it!

I have only had it in my hands a few times as of now but the Hejnar is very solid and comfortable to hold. The extra length is fine but not needed for my needs. I prefer the foot being bolted on rather than quick disconnect.

I agree that Arca-Swiss should be standard on these.
