Steve is feeling a little better today. I did take him to the ER room yesterday, because we both felt we hit a point where he needed a doctor to see him. They did admit him, they say he has COVID ammonia. However we got him there early enough and they are getting it treated right away. The hospital says I should be able to bring him home in a few days. I do speak with him a lot on the phone, and he sounds a lot better already. I will try to keep everyone updated on his well being as I get a chance. Thank you all for all the prayers and support. Rose
Prayers for a full and speedy recovery! Hope he will be home soon! @Rose

He is getting good medical care for sure having the doctors look over him. He is in good hands. He should be home soon. You seem to be holding up and I am sure Steve is very grateful for that.

Dear Rose,
Thanks for the updated. We continue to pray for a fast recovery.

@Rose praying that you and @Steve are okay. Last we heard he was in the hospital being treated 2-26-21.
Yes. And although keeping this forum updated is of the lowest of priorities for them, it is alarming that we aren't hearing much from either of them. Still, I'm only hoping the best for both of them, as well as all of you here on the forum.

As we all know the symptoms can run the gamut from a sniffle to, well we all know the worst case. It's clear that Steve was uncomfortable enough to get medical care so there's a good chance he's still feeling lousy. Although I certainly hope it's not the case, Rose herself might also have symptoms as well and therefore may not be up to posting photography forum medical updates.

These folks are not only fellow photographers, they're also really great people and I join the others here who are concerned. I'm really optimistic and believe we'll get an update as soon as they're able to do so.

Very slow onto this as I haven’t been on the site for a bit. But I just wanted to register best wishes and prayers for you both. As many have said, Steve has given us such expert honest assistance and support over the years and he deserves and is clearly getting massive continued good thoughts from us. Wishing you all the best and thinking of you, and hoping things resolve as soon as possible, Bruce

Update 3.3.2021

Hello Everyone,

Steve wanted me to give you an update from the hospital. He is in the ICU, and on high flow oxygen. He has had a round Remdesivir, antibiotics and steroids for his lung. They have lowered his oxygen today. The lung doctor says if we can get him to Friday and then he shouldn't need the ventilator. He has been on his stomach since yesterday and he is showing a big improvement. He is now able to be on the phone with me without getting winded! He is saying he is starting to feel better, which is the first time since this has all started.
We are both very cautiously optimistic on him finally turning the corner on this virus. We both want to say THANK YOU for keeping us in your prayers. ~ Steve and Rose
