This was one of my first successful landscape images, taken October 2020 in SE Arizona. My wife and I were on a birding adventure. We were camped out at Whitewater Draw in Cochise Co. Arizona primarily photographing the Sandhill Cranes that congregate at this location. A storm was moving in and the wind was howling. This was a fairly long exposure taken a bit after sunset. It was much darker than it appears in the photo!:

Great shot Tom. Whitewater Draw is a special place. I've photographed the Sandhill Cranes the last three years. The last two years the weather was similar to your photograph. The first year I arrived before sunrise & overcast with a light drizzle but I came away with this shot:

I have recently moved to Colorado so I now resort to the AZ Fish & Game webcam: Whitewater Draw Webcam and photographers like you.
