Swimming Bear

On the border between Russia and Finland, this well known site is fantastic for Brown Bears. There are 3 distinct habitats, woodland, marsh and lakes. At the lake location, the bears regularly swim across the lake. Pulling up weeds as they swim.
The bear picture was taken a 10:00pm and the scenery pic at 4:00am.

Thanks everyone, we get less oportunity in Europe to see these fantastic creatures, than our North American friends. However, the bears in Finland are Very chilled out.
