Again, another "test" shot with my Z6 and 500mm f5.6 PF. I was amazed at the detail I got in this shot. This was hand held at 1/800 at f/8, ISO 400. And of course the shot is cropped to remove acres of black. I've come to really like moon shots at half to 3/4 moon for detail. Although maybe slightly off subject, the moon is part of nature.

while looking on half a moon in full color, I can say that your BW version isn't that bad. The BW format here provides an analytic picture with nice details

Nice one. The moon was one of my first test shots with the 500mm PF. Yes so many people shoot the moon when it's full but it's a good case where less is more.
