Great pictures. Inspired me to search the Google, and read an article on this technique. Now all I need is a reverse ring adapter for a couple lenses. Thank you for the inspiration.

Dear Bob,
Thank you for your comments.

In order to purchase the reverse ring (also named Back Ring, the Nikon calls it BR) you must know your lens diameter that you intent to apply. The most common, for the Nikon is BR 2A. You can enter Google Search and type “eBay Nikon reverse ring BR2A” they will give you a list of so many articles about this item for you to choose. The one that sold by the Japan is about 20 to 30USD, the China made is about a few USD (less than 5USD).

About the technique that I usually use and take interest in is the Macro Photograph. In this technic, I take interest in the Nikon Micro lenses, such as the Nikon Micro 105mm f/2.8, Nikon Micro 200mm f/4, Nikon Micro 60mm f/2.8. But, those I prefer most are the EL-Nikkor reversed lenses, there are several of those, such as the 50mm f/2..8, the 63mm f/2.8, the 75mm f/4, the 80mm f/5.6, the 105mm f/5.6, there also the 135mm f/56, but I prefer the 80mm ad the 105mm, howerever, sometimes the 50mm is also very important. But, no matter how, in using those EL (EnLargement) lenses you must have a Bellows and Extension tube. I recommend you to invest the Helicoid Focus Extension Tube, this equipment comes with 3 types, different in the minimum and maximum length that it can extend. To me, the helicoid focus extension is so convenient than the bellows. And also the helicoid is much cheaper than the bellows.

If you want to discuss more in this topic, please sent me you email, we can have a more deeper discussion . In case you have any difficulty in purchasing a reverse ring, please let know, I will sent you one as a gift, because in my country, Vietnam, purchasing such China accessories are very easy and cheap. Please dont’t hesitate.

Wish to meet you over emails soon.

Best regards,
CHENGHAI
