I habve been following Steve for a long time & my bird photography skills have imrpoved thanks to him (& his e books & videos) .Even my Sony A1 puchase was based on his review (& i do love the camera ).
I had always admired one of his red cockatoo (i am not too sure of its exact name) image with opne wings.Hence when i got a similar image of a Rose ringed parakeet today(after trying for many days ) i decided to post it here as a tribute to him.
I could get only only one keeper in a burst of 8 .The aim now is be get more such keepers :)
Do share if you have such shots or other shots similar to other Steve's images

I have noticed Steve uses a fall view of John Oliver's cabin in Cades Cove a lot. Here is my view of it on an early spring morning. Steve would have been standing near the darker tree on the path to the left.
Beautiful.I think his video on focus shift is based on this

Basically any photo of mine that does not have blown out highlights is my tribute to Steve Perry. lol

People like to say the cameras doesn’t make you a better photographer that’s all fine and dandy but Auto ISO and exposure compensation combined with blinkies certainly didn’t hurt the end results for this big dummy
I hear ya on the auto iso and blinkers. Lol. Blinkies saved my eclipse pics. Friday morning

Well, many of my best photos are directly related to things I’ve learned from Steve over the past 3-years. They say that “emulatin is the highest form of compliment” and if that’s th case, Steve is well complimented by the members of this site. I think that continuing to support his site and efforts to teach is a tribute in itself!

I agree. I changed everything about how I shoot based on Steve's suggestions. I'm very happy with the results.

I'd like to use the opportunity to thank to @Steve for his channel and excellent books. They are not only improved my photography but also gave me the necessary knowledge to be able to talk to other photographers (mostly gentlemen) on the same eye-level. Even my partner listens to me :p
