Hi,

1) Thanks Steve for this forum; great idea.
2) I've got an L bracket on my Z6, BUT when I throw on an F lens (such as the 105 macro) I need to tripod a-swiss plate for the FTZ adapter -- wondering if anyone is using one that a) doesn't require the removal of the camera L-bracket (eg they can both be attached); b) can stay on the FTZ and allow the removal and attachment of the FTZ? Asking too much? :)

Absolutely! I'm a fan of Thom myself. And I do like that plate - I may have to get one myself.

Dang, there's the 1st $$ I've spent from reading the things on the BCG Forum. That took all of a couple hours of membership. Lol!

Thanks for this forum and for all you do, Steve! ;-)

Regards,
Phil

I like a shoulder strap so I got an RRS BQDS plate that clamps at O and 90 degrees but important to me takes an RRS QD strap swivel. This carries the camera and lens from the FTZ. when using any of my F lenses. I especially like it with my 500mm PF hand held or instant on/off a pod. Yes---it's too expensive but hey, buy local ;>)
