Greetings all,
A couple of years ago, my daughter gifted me a trip to Concord, Massachusetts, to photograph Walden Pond, and I was finally able to make the trip this week. Walden holds a special place in our hearts for so many reasons, as I'm sure it does for others. The day I visited was exceptionally foggy, which made for challenging lighting conditions, but I enjoyed watching this fisherman setting out on his own at daybreak. It reminded me of what it must have been like for Thoreau when he meticulously mapped the pond's topography and depth, and contemplated it's meaning. If you've never been, highly recommended.
