WEBSITES

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

I've worked on numerous Go Daddy sites (for clients) and would agree with Mrbigal: "it works just fine." It's easy to use and very clean and uncomplicated. If domain registration, loading and management is a concern I would suggest Go Daddy since it's a one stop shop.

I used GoDaddy for ages until they like quadrupled the annual cost last year on an automatic renewal. I had a fight to get my money back but lost. My fault, but be warned against automatic renewals.

I use both Smugmug and Adobe Portfolio. Portfolio is part of my Adobe photo plan, so it costs nothing extra. I use it for exactly what it says, a portfolio. Smugmug, I use to hold images I shoot for someone or an organization. Find it works well for that. Also, I’ve had my Smugmug account longer so I have trips etc on that site.
