Yellow-throated Warbler

I took this back in late April 2021 during the start of spring Warbler migration. These guys are one of the first species to show up along with the Yellow-rumped Warbler here in Pennsylvania. This photo is just a reminder that spring migration is only 3 months away...

Pretty bird . Nice sharp pic. The TC on the 300mm did well.
Thanks! I actually went back and edited this the other day. Apparently it didn't make the cut back in April! Yeah, I liked that lens but it stopped recognizing the teleconverter. Still worked well at 300mm but I upgraded to the 200-500. I sometimes miss the 300 F/4, but I've been a happy camper with the zoom.

Was the other pic more environment and less close up or exposure? I am always in a quandary close up or get surrounding bush in if that was the issue. I do see alot of bird only close ups but unfortunately, my focus sometimes never that perfect to do extensive crop. I would like to go zoom and likely will when go mirrorless in future nowD 850 and 500pf as my only setup while I wait to advance to mirrorless.

My other photos are all from relatively close range. The foliage at the time didn't make for good environmental compositions.
