Z9 Display button

Recently got a Z9 and have been inputting settings preferences. Not sure if I have done something to a setting somewhere, but when I press the display button it does not cycle thru the 5 displays. I can change the options for each display in menu a18, and all 5 are check marked but pressing the display button does nothing.

I believe that the display button can be programmed to do other things. Is it possible that you did that?

The settings are generally in custom menu f2.

Are you referring to the small button on the left of the viewfinder? This one should cycle through the different display settings. But if you are referring to the DISP button next to the AF-ON, i guess it's there for a different purpose and can also be configured for other custom controls.

I have that happen to me as well - on occasion. I believe it's a glitch

Thank you Bill W, not sure how I did it but it was assigned "override other cameras" ??

I know I didn't assign that function to that button. The only thing I can think of is maybe I hit it when assigning one of the other buttons. Touchscreen is super sensitive.
