Z9-Hi-Res Video Zoom feature

In Nikon Z9 latest firmware the new Hi-Res zoom feature in Video shooting is added. Has any one used it. Pls explain how to set it and any other relevant information on it while video shooting.

I have used it, but it does only work in some formats and some framerates. I don't think it works at anything higher than 24 fps. It's nice when it works, you can get a nice smooth zoom in as long as you are on a tripod, and if you don't shoot 8K, at least one feature of 8K will be available to you in the camera. If you already shoot 8K, you can do a digital zoom after the capture anyway, so this is a feature for people like me who shoot at 4K but want to use some nice tricks of 8K capture.

Set:
Menu->Video Recording Menu->Video file Type=H.264/H.265/Prores (not RAW)
Menu->Video Recording Menu->Frame size/frame rate=3840x2160 (24p/25p/30p)
Menu->Video Recording Menu->Hi-ResZoom=ON
Menu->Custom Settings Menu->g8->High Res Zoom speed=Slower/Standard/Faster

By default the D-pad zooms. You can also assign the zoom function to the fn1 & fn2 function buttons and the lens control ring if you lens has one.

The zoom feature is limited to 4k 24p/30p and doesn't work in any of the RAW shooting modes (i.e Prores Raw and NRaw). All it appears to be doing is scanning the 8k portion of the sensor and downsampling to 4k in real time so at 1x you're getting a high resolution 4k image downsampled from 8k but as you zoom to 2x you're getting a 1:1 non-downsampled 4k image, so you will notice a drop in IQ as you zoom in.
