Z9 ship date

Ironically this is how my daily devotional that I read everyday started today shortly after checking e mails etc. for Z9 delivery news :)

I just ran across this forum and joined. It’s great that some are starting to receive their non-NPS Z9 cameras. I ordered from B&H Photo and based upon the email time stamp it was 8:08 a.m. on October 28th. Not sure when ordering actually started but I’m hoping that I might get the Z9 soon. I have had the 100-400 for a few weeks and I ordered it at the same time as the Z9. I also have the z14-24 2.8, z24-70 2.8, z85 1.8, and z105 2.8 already so I only need the Z9 now. I’m excited and ready to go! :)

Nikon seems to be ahead of B&H for orders on 10/28 ... since @Keith2012 said he is still waiting on B&H and his order was at 8:08 AM on 10-28 looks like I was many hours to late 8:30 PM mountain time and the wrong place B&H :)

It’s been waiting for me at the local store for a while but I was only able to pick it up today.

First impression - a bit smaller and lighter than I expected. Grip feels very good in both landscape and portrait modes. Viewfinder is excellent - they really have come a long way since the first EVF’s , blackout free shooting is impressive.

I only have a Viltrox 24 with me till I go back to California next week so limited ability to give it a good test.

I talked to B&H yesterday afternoon and the rep said they had no estimated ship date for my10-28-21 8:30 PM mountain time 10:30 PM eastern order and they hoped to get all shipments made from 10-28 orders in the next couple of months.

Being a 10:40 Eastern on 10/28 person, I'm glad to hear that the store is apparently gotten to 10 am Eastern. The store has been pretty definitive that orders are being shipped by ordering time for non NPS folks. So thanks @Keith2012 for letting us know.
