.... Prolonged use of the electronic shutter will significantly reduce the life expectancy of the sensor, compared to using the mechanical shutter most of the time and therefore only exposing the sensor to light while actually recording an image...

Mirrorless cameras such as Nikon Z, Canon R and Sony alpha keep the mechanical shutter open for viewing. The sensor is exposed to light continuously except the brief moment when a mechanical shutter closes. The mechanical shutter re-opens as soon as the image is read from the sensor in order to enable viewing.

In the six years I've been using mirrorless cameras this has not been a problem.

Thank you, interesting, so how do you tell the age and condition of a mirror less camera in the used market...........and what is the expected life of a mirrorles camera.

Subjective / integrated grip is an advantage to me and many folks. I also do appreciate the modularity & versatility of my Z6II + grip (same advantages for Sony & Canon).

Heat. 20-40 minutes in 8k by some reports, in that smaller body. 8k isn't groundbreaking, but shooting 8k internally for that length of time - in a warm climate - is. The Z9's 2nd trailer wasn't shot in a hot / wildlife climate by accident - they were making a clear point about the Z9's endurance while running 8k.

And just to make sure everyone's cool (no pun intended :)), this is just a light discussion / not an argument. I admire all of these flagship bodies - they're all amazing - and they all offer some clear & unique advantages over one another.
Integarted grip is a big no-no for me & probably many others.Thats one of the reasons i am planning to bu Sony A1 though i have D 500, D 850 & 2x 500 PF lenses (apart from other primes & Zooms)

This is a Volvo also....

Does he contradict himself? He says the lens is 70-200 but then changes to say he thinks lens is 100-400. Did I hear that? Lots of speculation. Lots of assumptions what Nikon is “saying.” Anyone could this. Just saying….

He says that in one image, it's clearly a 70-200, but in another image it can't be a 70-200 since the rings don't match. So it's a new lens, so he assumed it's the 100-400.
The 100-400 was scheduled to be released last year. One year have passed... crossing my fingers here that the lens will be released now... 1 year later

Some have speculated that both 100 400 & 70 -200 are shown in the teaser one after the other

Who cares about boxy, really? Looks or style don't really matter. Does it fit well in the hand and are all the controls quick and easy to access? That seems more like whaat really matters. :)

It’s funny that a Sony fan is calling the camera boxy 😂
Canon seems to be the only one not following the boxy camera trend. I like the squared edges more than the bloated, rounded look from DSLR days but it’s personal preference.
