So this day we went to photograph some kingfishers, but we only saw a Grey heron. I decided to take a sort of front-lit low key image, but it is hard to do something to it in PP, so I need your help. Alos I have another Image, that is hard to deal with. Please help

I would actually go in the opposite direction - just have the upper part of the bird come out of darkness
Very quick and dirty edit. You can get more contrast and pop on the beak and neck and go even darker on the body so that it barely breaks through the darkness if you'd like.
