This photo was taken very close to the Nova Scotia/New Brunswick border were the Northumberland Strait creates marshes along the shore. Most of the day had been very overcast. By the time we reached this area the sun had come out. The photo was taken during the late afternoon in October. Constructive comments always welcome!

Beautiful. Kathy!! Only thing I might have done is take some of the sky out in a crop. love the setting! This would make a wonderful pano if you ever get the chance to go back.

Should the choice be to remove sky, then the bottom must be reduce too - say loose half the grre. However, if you add clouds to the sky, the frame ration stays and the image may rock more. Use any suitable clouds.

Thanks everyone!! I originally cropped this photo as a pano but It looked awful long and thin. I agree there is too much blue sky. Callie I like your suggestion that I clone in clouds. I never think of cloning in, only cloning out. Later today I will add some more clouds across the sky and repost. Thanks again!

Ok, tried to clone in clouds and that just led to a proper mess. I think that is something that requires PS. I did crop the photo into a pano by decreasing the sky and decreasing the green grass.

Pano crop looks nice too. However, you do not clone clouds in, you replace the sky with a new sky with clouds. I do not know whether your programme can do it. Maybe Google. It is a powerful tool.

Thanks Callie. No, I cannot replace the sky with my software. What I tried was the repair feature and cloning out the blue sky and replacing with the clouds. That might be possible for someone with more patience, time and skill than I have.

Thanks Gordon. All 3 look good. Unfortunately I can’t do what you have done - I can only work with the clouds in the photo. Did you use PS to add the clouds?
You can do it in photoshop with a photo of some clouds a layer mask and some blending... it motor time consuming but it works.... and you can definitely do it but takes some practice.

Thanks Gordon. I don't have PS and at this point never will (I have a thing about monthly rentals - especially when in US dollars and I earn Canadian dollars). But, if Luminar can do this stuff, maybe I will check out Luminar.
