I've been blessed today with the visit of the a brambling and the long awaited great spotted woodpecker who usually doesn't land where I want, but this time she did!

Wow how close were you! Good detail shots of these guys ( or gals?) I never feel that blessed about woodpeckers from a homeowner viewpoint:):)

I was very close in my office in some sort of a mobile-home behind single pane glass, maybe about 5 meters. Actually for the woodpecker I had too much zoom at 600mm and had to zoom out a bit. Both the brambling and the woodpecker were at a perch I've setup near the area I drop some seeds stolen from our sheeps' stash. We live completely isolated on a farm in the middle of woods and meadows, woodpeckers are very common here but so far none ever came to the feeder, until now! She came back since and I got an (imo) even better picture showing the full body:
