Straight out of camera jpgs. Taken from my parents front door, Windhoek Namibia. Could not believe my luck. Will try to go back around sunset today for better light, as will likely stick around all day if the grey go-away (grey lourie) birds don’t harass it to much. Z6 ii & 500pf

Hi Allan in NI. I only have guides for birds of Southern Africa and see you are in Northern Ireland. Face plumage and eye colori g looks more lake Cape Eagle Owl per my guides than spotted, but as noted, my guides are only for Southern Africa, so likely similar species

Thanks all. Owl moved slighly, so was more obstructed with better late afternoon light providing side lighting. Hopefully it will stick around and that I can try again tomorrow. One shot turned out good. Used sigma 120-300 with 1.4xtc this afternoon. 500pf was a bit to much zoom this morning.
