Lovely surroundings Ivan!
Is that a view from your house?
Almost, I have to walk to the end of the street (500 metres) because of trees lining our road. Once the leaves fall the view from the house opens up. As my comedian father used to say "then you can see all the way out of sight"! 🙂

Good idea. Guess I will have to go take some shots of my boring surrounds.

BTW, just noted the addition of the flag in your signature so stole the idea. Any one else want to do the same but don't know how. Just ask and I will post instructions.

This is the view north from just across the road.
I know that stretch of road very well having driven through there maybe a couple of hundred times but great job seeing the skies and light set up that way as it doesn't usually look so great :)

Still I always love approaching Dubois from Crowheart or Riverton as those badland bluffs just shout out Old West. Great image!

The great thing about where I am is that I get to see the Badlands every day in all sorts of light. Some days it's flat, other days it just glows. Throw in some smoke from wildfires and you never know what you're going to get.

Ok, wow. I look out my street and see row housing built in the mid 70s. It is a mixed income neighbourhood. Most houses have the front completely paved for 2 cars. End result is asphalt and blah houses. Like Peter, I am now jealous.
Rassie - aren’t you right by Pearson Airport? :)
