Sitting in doubt that the long hoped for Kingfisher would appear on a twig I had placed at our local reservoir, I had over 11000 mm waiting.
I Knew that my chances were slim to nothing as the stick had been placed some 2 years previous and I had never seen anything using it.
There was a Chinese whisper that some one had a Kingfisher on it so why not give it a try. After 3 hours nothing then out of nowhere a Grey Heron suddenly alighted on it
