Presently I live in India and have been travelling across India watching and photographing birds. Thought will present images of birds in a multipart series. Hopefully this will get some to visit India for birdwatching. The photographs of birds are captured in the wild except where mentioned when hides are used.
Really fascinated with warblers and other small birds. Their energy would put a sprinter to shame.
I was in High island Texas more than a decade ago during the spring migration in late April. An approaching storm caused the birds to drop to nearest available land. Saw so many blackburnian warblers with their orange throats shimmering in the early morning sun. Still remains one of my favourite bird.

Very nice set of some very beautiful birds. Just curious, I have to be somewhat careful of alligators when close to the water around here, are tigers a concern where you live?

I live in Bangalore which is a metro so no concern of any wildlife. Tigers are mostly confined to certain forests and surrounds and these areas one has to go in a open jeep. I usually avoid them as it is difficult to photograph from jeep. A larger concern is elephants which can be unpredictable. Most birdwatching is done from roadside and there is generally less human animal interaction during daytime.
Also don't have have to go to forest always for avian photography
