Very nice!
This is certainly not a photo I would normally be posting. It isn't one I'm proud of or consider worthy of sharing but it is my first photo of 2024. 9:15am on Jan 3, 2024. Lots of haze and heat shimmer as I shot it out the window of my warm car. A touch over sharpened I know.

We all probably fall into that camp. or at least most of us. :thank you. I don't think my photography is any threat to Steve.
From this morning, on my drive home from shooting not much in not great conditions I saw this hawk as I drove past and it was just as the sun broke through...

New Year's Day, Naples, Florida
The weather has been pretty uncooperative so far in 2024 (heavy winds and rain), so I've only been able to briefly go out once. I did however manage to get this cattle egret hanging out in a field with... well cattle

I was able to get pretty close to this House Finch at my bird feeder with my Z9 and 500mmPF.
