I would love to see more of members big cat photos and portraits. Here is one I like from Mara last February.

I'd get rid of the colour popping. It's not very well done I'm afraid. I appreciate it his is the 'presentation' forum so don't want to sound harsh. There is a great photo in there somewhere.

I agree with the statements above, their faces are too far left of center. Nice looking cats though, and I must say, this pic has a lot of potential.

I agree, too, but didn#t want to be rude ;-) I think the picture is nice as it is! It will pop also without BW/colour combi. It wins becasue the lionesses are engaged, because of their pose! They are like in a hunting-mode!

@RayBC Am I correct in assuming you want this to be a big cat thread where other people post their photos? If so, perhaps adding the word "thread" to the title might help clarify that? Just a thought.

Here is an earlier version. I hope it works better. Lions were watching an annoying hyena that wanted them up and hunting. It kept advancing and retreating.

MUCH better image.....IMHO.

I modified the title to indicate others were encouraged to post their images also.

Here is my best capture of an astonishingly beautiful creature...Butterkid's leopard shot is jaw dropping! Jerry Watson Cheetah is also marvellous. I love these cats!

Nervermind - it took me two days to also see its not a cow product but a door keeper that you PP reads, actually, I have to read right!

Just outside Lake Panic, Kruger NP, there is a dry river drift. Coming from the hide one wonderful mid day, we encountered this relaxed cat on the side of the road.

This was a very sore injured lion whose torn lip must have hurt like heck.

Ol' Scarface - no zoo lion can ever have this much character!

Any Vetrinarians out there?
Is this an infection?
Life threatening?

How do they recover from this or eat??
