I spent a lot of time with my camera in the blind this season, especially in the early season when the weather was good. As a veteran, I got to go out almost a month before the general season for one weekend. I did not even take my gun with me for that "hunt'.

Nice of them to turn to the left, just enough for the bright patches on their wings to show.

I never realized before, just how much water a surprised duck displaces when taking off.

Dropping fast and putting on the brakes!

Thank you. One benefit of the 20 frames per second, is you have many choices of wing positions and reflections. I really enjoyed the extra frames from my 10 frames per second D500.
