I've seen this gal on my trail camera a few times but always at night. She decided to make an appearance this morning.

That's rare. What time were out and did you go looking for her? Great shot.
About 9am.

I wasn't looking for her. I was actually in my office editing pics when I heard my dog whining about something which usually means there's either an animal or the UPS truck. We've had a pair of Whitetail fawns hanging around and I thought that was what it was, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Impressive shot Bill, a good share of us will never seen this in the wild. Very well done.
Thanks Louie. Much appreciated.
Yeah, it's been decades since I've captured a Badger shot and none as nice as that. Great work and good job staying attentive Bill!
Thanks Dave. I believe that there must be little ones around someplace close judging by her mannerisms. They don't generally hang around the way this one did.
Very nice! Its a great feeling when you get the opportunity to photograph a seldom seen animal and then get a great shot on top of that!
Thanks so much. Most of my Badger pics are in a more desert environment. First one in the trees and grass.

Thanks, most of the time their face is covered in dirt but she's a beauty for sure.
Was on a steep scree slope once with really only one trail route safely and a badger did not yield the right of way, and in fact turned each way in turn when I moved to attempt to go around on the looser scree; He won, I turned around LOL
