After contracting Lyme Disease twice this summer I took myself in being afraid to go out to in the field to shoot because of the fright of geting ticks on me again. I realised the best way to cure this is to get out with my camera again!
Lyme Disease has weakend me and my joints and muscles have become stiff and I feel like im 107 years old at least. But I managed to get out and photograph the white-throated dipper and it was so much fun! The bird was really trustful and let me take som cloe portraits. I came home with 1400 images on my memory card of this beautiful bird. I havenā€™t got around to look at them all yet, but here is one I made for my instagram šŸ˜Š

The second photo is a dandy. We have a lot of Lyme-carrying ticks here so I spray my field pants with Permethrin which has low toxicity to mammals but will kill the ticks that look at me as an easy meal.
