What’s on Your Lightroom Classic Wishlist for Adobe Max?

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

With Adobe Max fast approaching, I'm curious to see what enhancements or tools might come to Lightroom Classic.
Are there any tools or improvements you like to see in the next update?

Personally, I'd really appreciate an AI-powered search function, similar to what's available in Lightroom Cloudy.
While I currently rely on a third-party plugin to handle this, it would be far more convenient to have this feature natively integrated into Lightroom Classic.
What feature do you think would make a difference in your workflow?

Just search or keywords?

I would like optional keyboard shortcutting to anything in their menus so you could shortcut what you use the most.

R u aware that in each module you can easily find the shortcuts...I almost always use the shortcut key. See below as to where to find that info...

I am interested in shortcuts for things that don’t have stock shortcuts. I am not home now so I can’t give an example. Maybe I am missing something basic, but does Copy Settings have a shortcut. I feel like there is something I use often that has no shortcut assigned.

The keyboard shortcuts for Copy Settings and Paste Settings are the following:
Copy Settings (Win) Ctrl Shift C - (Mac) Cmd Shift C
Paste Settings (Win) Ctrl Shift V- (Mac) Cmd Shift V

But as you say - there might be some things that has no shortcut assigned.

Do you mean you have processed an image and you then want to lay that same processing over another image? If so, the Previous button is one way, that would to me be a shortcut. It's also very easy to me to just click on copy and copy all and then paste, that seems pretty quick to me. I do this all the time when I have images shot in the same light, same exposure for the most part, it's really quick to do. The shortcut for copy and paste is probably longer, Command+Shift+C or V. I don't use that shortcut.

Again sorry on a trip so can’t look at LRc. Do these shortcuts show in the drop down menus? Maybe there are existing shortcuts that I am not aware of because they aren’t in the menu. And of course, at 66 and eating too much pizza and Italian wine, I may not remember anything correctly.

Yes - in Develop module and in the Settings menu

"Never sit around and wait for someone unless they're delivering a pizza" :)

The pizza delivery guy wants to know if that shows in the Library Module. I’m more likely to use it there to apply to multiple images.
No, you don't see that option in the Library Module menu.
You can use the keyboard shortcut in the Library module for copying and pasting settings to several images at once.
And you can do the same in the Develop module by selecting multiple images in the filmstrip foir pasting.

Right clicking also gives a contextual menu, my usual go to if not remembering the keyboard shortcut.

Increased/Optimized speed of detail regen in Develop module when moving between photos.

(I have Intel 13900KF, 128 GB RAM, PCIE 4.0 SSD, RTX 4060Ti. It should be adequate even with 4K display IMO)
