Sealing Lens Coat edges

You would be better off finding a tailor or seamstress that has an 'Over-Locker' machine. The UK ones from Outdoor Photography Gear are overlocked and hold up extremely well.

Some years ago, I gave up on the overpriced LensCoat kits - shoddy products. Fortunately, the oldest of these UK kits I bought in 2019 have survived heavy use well.

I tried to find a tailor shop to blanket stitch the edges of a LensCoat neoprene but apparently it needs a suitable machine. Perhaps scuba diving outfitters could help.

Same... I stopped using lenscoat lens covers in favor of RolanPro which is a superior quality design.

Those are the ones I use and I prefer them. Sometimes I get a used lens and it has an LC included and I just go with it. Never really had an issue...just prefer the UK ones.

It's just sad (and da-ned annoying) to purchase a high-priced product that needs modification right out of the box -- think lens covers, tripod feet, and how many other things we purchase that aren't related to photography.
