I stand amazed. Were you able to see the aurora naked-eye? I'm even farther south, outside New Orleans. A lady I met at the lakefront told me someone else had photographed the aurora over Lake Pontchartrain on Oct. 10 (?) but she'd only seen it in his phone. I thought it was unlikely that she'd seen it at all but maybe I was wrong.

I live in a very dark sky site Bortle 2-3 here is about what I see naked eye:

Also regarding Aurora naked eye, yes, but very muted. compared to the 1-3 second exposure. But you could see the red and greens, but the other colors were best in camera.
