Making us feel low on this side of the bush, Peter!
Do you have an image of his smaller cousin? I have onle ever seen one once a long time ago in Kruger
The Ayres's Hawk-eagle (Hieraaetus ayresii)? Only a record shot - a youngster came to the garden once to upset everyone. In a bombax - one of my fav trees.

Here is a picture from a female Sparrow Hawk (Sperwer in Dutch, Accipiter nisus ), taken with D7200/Tamrom 150-600mm G2 in my backyard of my former house in Emmeloord, The Netherlands. The prey was a Eurasian collared dove ( Streptopelia decaocto) or Turkse Tortel in Dutch.

Don't think I could see a Golden Eagle on the list as of yet. Full disclosure this is a captive bird in a photography session.

Perfect. Always carry the camera. I found a long crested eagle on my wandering today. Not such a good shot but one for the record so I was happy.

This photograph doesn't deserve a place in our forums, but the Raptors of the World thread doesn't deserve to have come to an untimely end. This is my attempt to get the thread restarted; it's worth paging through the images!
