Hairy Woodpecker

Another cold and wet winter's day but brightened up by this European Green Woodpecker in my garden. These are very alert and scare easily so shot through the double glazed kitchen window.

Same bird, these were shot at 1/1000, f5.6, ISO 6400

Don't know the exact name,(maybe Picus viridis) in my garden on the ground looking for worms.

Male and female downy woodpeckers, and a Pileated woodpecker.
