I have been playing tag with 2 or 3 each of Coopers Hawks and Sharpshinned Hawks. This youngster dropped by looking for a feathered snack and stayed for about 45 minutes. He finally got bored, or hungry, and leisurely flew down the lagoon. Now comes the hard work of sifting through the 400 plus exposures that survived the first cull.
I chose this to be processed first just because I liked the way he was looking at me. Like an academic looking over his glasses.
