Excellent shots Robin. What state are you in? We have two Bald Eagle nests very close to my house in Melbourne, FL. I Love getting shots of them every winter. And I know what you mean about the sky. Its either cloudy or pristine blue skies here. I love a day with blue sky and some nice clouds to break it up.

I am in La Grange,
Kentucky and this eagle lives close to my house. He likes to fish at a small fishery and the owner lets me come in and take pictures. This day he did 3 fly overs and I was able to get a bunch of shots of him. This eagle has a nest that is not to far away and I am hoping to get some pictures of the babies this spring.

We already have chick in the nest here. They are almost as big as the parents. I guess the difference in weather determines hatch times. Took this one yesterday. They are not

Wow! He is very big already, ours are still laying eggs. It will be a while before we have any hatchlings.
