Here's a bit of an afternoon surprise. Was sitting here editing photos when my wife called in that we had visitors outside the kitchen door. Took a look and sure enough this healthy looking Mule Deer buck was staring right in through the glass door keeping an eye on our dog that was oblivious. Grabbed the camera and my walk around zoom to capture this image.

I have gotten too busy for much of anything other than work. At least I saw this Sharp-shinned hawk out back this morning and took a shot with the D850 off the deck.

Absolutely. What a knowing look you captured.

I like the way your picture tells a story. These quail are frequent visitors to our yard, but my images are more "guidebook" type shots: D7100/200-500, f5.6, 1/1000s

Nice photo! A couple years ago it became my mission to get a few nice closeup photos of Quail and I spent a lot of time pursuing that.....lol

Cute little opossum in a locust tree in our back yard. Nikon D500, Nikon 200-500 at F 6.3. 1/800 second ISO 320. I don't do a lot of post processing. I shot this in January so I forgot what all was done. I think just cropping, some brightness and contrast.
