Know the situation, lousy ergonomics, little control of exposure, short focal length etc. But it's what you got.
At home I will run them through the standard post-process hoping to improve the final results, and you can improve by cropping, straightening, adjust exposure & curves. I don't think it reaches the same level as DSLR images, but i has some rights. Below a night shot with an iPhone 8
