OK, so I know I'm probably a little excited... and I know many of you have done this for many years and fully understand what these camera are capable of, but being only picked up a camera 18 months ago I'm still learning so much about all sorts of things.
I completely buggered up a shot this afternoon playing with the new D5 and 600E. Dark environment and way too much shutter speed, also, it seems the metering responds quite different to both my D850 and D500. Further, exposure comp seem to do more with the same amount of input setting... I guess that's the joys of learning a new camera.
Anyhow, This shot was overexposed quite a bit which resulted in 20000 ISO. This is also a 2400 crop long side. Processed in DXO PL4 using deep prime noise reduction.
Next shot was more where I needed shutter to be but still overexposed use ISO and corrected in post, ISO 4500, 2700px long side crop.
