Near Melkvlei picnic stop in the Kgalagadi TFP.
We were fortunate to follow the cheetah hunt from the moment he raised himself out of the grass up to the chaos before the springbok mom was gone, just leaving the lamb with the cheetah.
The the other brother appeared too. I have several images of the two pf them with the springbok just laying there, sweet and docile like. once again, just uncaring nature.

I have been watching cats since Animal Kingdom as a kid. Even though such a familiar scene, I am struck by how well these Cheetah blend into the background.
Thanks, Michael - Yes, it caught my eye too, so easy to drive past them!
That is life in the African bush and not for the faint hearted........ well captured Callie!
Thanks, Bertie, beautifully harsh sometimes.
