It's nice to be able to "work" a cooperative, predictable bird. I posted a photo of this male Anna's hummingbird yesterday, noting that getting the gorget in full light seemed unlikely from where I was taking the photos. I was able to raise the camera up a few feet and waited and waited, and finally, the macho little guy strutted his stuff. Nikon Z7, FTZ adapter, Sigma sports 150-600mm, Sigma 1.4x telextender. 840mm, 1/320 f10 ISO 2500. Promediagear tripod, Wimberley gimbal.
